Tappy Bear – There to help after visit to the principal

This winter one of my grade 4 students had thrown a snowball and had to have a talk with the principal. This did not go over very well. She came to class very late. Very upset and was not prepared to go into the classroom in the state she was in. I asked her what she would like? I said, ” Would you like me to go get…?” She replied with “Tappy Bear?” I went and got him and asked her if she remembered what to do. Before I could finish my sentence Tappy was already taking care of her. When my homeroom class came back down the hall and saw the child with TappyBear, they all said “Tappy where have you been”

It’s so wonderful to have Tappy as an assistant in my classroom. He is always ready and willing to step in and  help any (sometimes all) of my students at anytime.

No need to publish this. Just a heads up.
Principle should be principal. Easy way to remember it: the principal is your \"pal\" in the office.
